Cockpit, The
Probably the most indie rock style venue in Leeds, Cockpit is the place to be for alternative nights and puts on some great bands too.
Creation
One of Leeds's most clubish clubs. Has 3 rooms, one of which is massive.
Evolution
The biggest club in Leeds. Three rooms and a combined capacity of 2,900.
Flares
70's disco style club.
Fruit Cupboard, The
Club with two levels, a more bar-ish small area down near the toilets and the main area at the top.
Gatecrasher
Very clubish club. Has a cocktail lounge downstairs and Discotheque upstairs.
Halo
Run by Absolute Leasure, it likes to push house music but also does some good student nights.
HiFi Club, The
While it has some traditional nights the real gem of The HiFi Club is the live jazz and funk nights.
Majestyk
The most local-ish club in town. Rumour has it The Kaiser Chiefs' song "I Predict A Riot" was written at kick-out time here. It closed down on June 10th 2006 though.
Mint Club
It's an alternative club that just happens to play mainstream stuff or something ;).
Mixing Tin
A nice place that is usually blasting out music. Not too big but done out fairly well. And they have a sofa.
Oceana
Featuring clubs, bars, restaurants yet only "one destination" apparently, Oceana is Leeds's newest superclub.
Rehab
Urban and house music club.
Space, The
Urban music club.
Twilite Club
Funky, electro vocal house with a little old skool flava or so they claim.
Wire
Nicely fitted out with private seating areas, you can easily miss Wire with it just being a door and staircase disappearing down.
