Cockpit, The
Probably the most indie rock style venue in Leeds, Cockpit is the place to be for alternative nights and puts on some great bands too.
Fab Cafe
Full of reto-80's stuff (and rumour has it some 90's stuff too, someone mentioned Lara Croft) they have a decent range of drinks and some sweets too.
Wire
Nicely fitted out with private seating areas, you can easily miss Wire with it just being a door and staircase disappearing down.
